Open Role
Upper Management
The job is people, not accounts.
Management roles run the teams that run the accounts — scheduling, quality, hiring and performance. If you enjoyed chatting because you liked the conversations, this is a different job rather than a promotion within the same one.

What we look for
- Evidence you have held a distributed team together
- Comfort explaining performance with numbers, not effort
- Willingness to have difficult conversations promptly
- Realism about the hours a cross-time-zone team demands
The work
What the role involves
Scheduling and coverage
Building a rota that holds across time zones, and covering it when someone drops.
Quality control
Reading what your team sends and catching the drift into mechanical or pushy messaging before subscribers churn.
Hiring and training
Screening applicants, running assessments, and getting new people to competence quickly.
Performance and reporting
Diagnosing whether a problem is skill, account assignment or motivation — and explaining to leadership why the numbers moved.
Compensation
How it pays
Usually salaried rather than commission-based, and above chatter earnings at most agencies — though a top chatter on a strong account can out-earn a junior manager. The trade is ceiling for stability.
Questions
Before you apply
Do I need OFM experience for a management role?
Not always. Agencies hire externally for people who have genuinely led remote teams. Retail shift leads, support team leads and hospitality supervisors all transfer — the relevant part is coverage, quality control and handling underperformance.
How is the management application different?
It assesses leadership scenarios rather than chat skills. Apply for the role you actually want rather than working upward from a chatter application — they are separate assessments.
What do these roles pay?
Typically salaried, sitting above chatter pay at most agencies, sometimes with revenue-sharing or performance bonuses attached.
